Position: QE Lead / Test Automation Lead

Location: Frisco TX/Atlanta GA ***Hybrid

Duration: 1 Year

Job Description:

• A Quality Engineering Lead with strong expertise in manual and automation testing across web mobile and API platforms.
• You bring hands-on experience in Selenium Playwright Appium and REST API automation along with strong Agile delivery exposure and ability to drive quality engineering excellence.

The Opportunity:

• Design develop and own end-to-end manual and automated tests for assigned releases
• Create and maintain automation suites using Selenium (Java) Playwright (Typescript) Appium and REST API frameworks
• Lead and coordinate testing activities for modules owning quality gates and exit criteria
• Drive in-sprint Agile testing and represent QE in sprint planning estimation and risk discussions
• Actively validate user stories within the sprint ensuring early defect detection
• Contribute to automation stability optimization and best practices
• Use AI-assisted testing solutions for test generation smart test selection and failure insights
• Define and optimize functional regression and E2E execution strategies leveraging shared frameworks and cloud platforms
• Mentor A1/A2 engineers review automation code and drive QE standards and continuous improvement

What You Need:

• At least 5 years of experience in Quality Engineering / Automation Testing
• Strong hands-on experience in Selenium / Playwright and REST API automation
• 3 5 years of experience in end-to-end digital flow testing across Mobile Web and applications
• Experience in validation checks (authentication payments order flow)
• Strong programming skills in Java / C# / Python / Typescript (2 4 years)
• Experience with customer journey flows middleware interactions and backend integrations
• Strong SQL knowledge (2 3 years) for transaction and user flow validation
• Experience with mobile automation using Appium (2 3 years)
• Hands-on experience in GitLab CI/CD tools (2 3 years)
• Experience with Test Grid / Tosca automation (2 3 years)
• Strong experience in manual testing (2 4 years)
• Hands-on experience with test management tools (JIRA qTest)
• Strong analytical troubleshooting and communication skills

Performs tests in strict compliance independently guides other testers and assists

test leads for the following:

1. Construct test scenarios based on customer user stories or requirements

2. Construct systematic test cases from scenarios for applications based on customer

user stories or requirements

3. Execute systematic test cases from scenarios for applications based on customer

user stories or requirements

4. Ensure that new or revised components or systems perform to expectation.

5. Ensure meeting of standards; including usability performance reliability or

compatibility.

6. Document Test results and report defects

7. Facilitate changes in processes/practices/procedures based on lessons learned

from the engagement

8. Develop proficiency of other testers on the project
