QC Wet Chemistry Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented QC Wet Chemistry Analyst to support quality control operations in a GMP-regulated laboratory environment. This role focuses on raw material and component testing using wet chemistry techniques ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and maintaining high-quality laboratory documentation and practices. Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine testing of raw materials using wet chemistry techniques
• Conduct periodic raw material sampling in compliance with established procedures
• Execute visual inspection/testing of drug product containers closures and medical device components
• Perform testing on the raw materials of drug products
• Accurately document test results and maintain laboratory records and logbooks
• Write revise and maintain laboratory documentation including SOPs and specifications (SPECs)
• Ensure laboratory compliance with cGMP requirements and regulatory standards
• Calibrate verify and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment
• Maintain appropriate levels of laboratory supplies and inventory
• Collaborate with internal teams and interact with clients and cross-functional groups as needed
• Participate in training programs to maintain technical and compliance proficiency
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and 5S principles
• Work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

Qualifications :

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelors degree (BS/BA) in Life Sciences or a related field
• Hands-on laboratory experience with wet chemistry techniques
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint)
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

What to Expect in the Hiring Process:

• 45-60 Minute Virtual Interview with Manager and/or Group Leader
• 30 Minute Virtual Meeting with the Site Director 

The position is on-site full-time first shift Monday through Friday. Candidates must be flexible to adapt to schedule changes that may require shift changes and/or weekend work and overtime may be required as needed. Candidates living within a commutable distance of Rensselaer New York are encouraged to apply.
