QC Technician II

As a Quality Control Technician (8:00 AM 4:00 PM Monday Friday) you will have a strong customer focus and possess a strong working knowledge of wet chemistry techniques and instrumentation skills. This exciting role is responsible for conducting analytical testing developing new test methods and interpreting test results.

What Youll Do:

• Independently manage the analysis of samples and data ensuring each sample comes off within its allotted lead time
• Operate and maintain ICP HPLC GC/MS and various lab instrumentation using accepted GLP and GMP procedures. Work with service engineers to perform routine maintenance to minimize instrument down time
• Evaluate new test methods to bring to on site and routinely review current methods and suggest any improvements
• Participate in Formal Root Cause Analysis and implement Corrective Actions
• Effectively communicate both verbally and written lab data and results to other departments
• Work in interdepartmental teams and with affiliate sites

What Youll Bring:

• Bachelors or Higher education in a Technical Degree with a strong Analytical Chemistry background
• 5-years of experience working in a high throughput quality control lab
• A strong background in analytical instrumentation and analysis including but not limited to GC-MS LC-MS and ICP
• Prior experiencing working in a third-party testing lab strongly preferred
• Experiencing managing lab projects and working with a small to mid-size teams
