Title:QA Tester Contractor
Duration: Through 2/26/27
Location: 100% onsite in Cincinnati OH
Responsibilities:
- As a QA Tester Contractor you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of software applications through rigorous testing and analysis.
- Execute test cases and document results to ensure software meets specified requirements.
- Identify report and track defects and issues in the software.
- Collaborate with developers to understand features and functionalities to be tested.
- Perform regression testing to verify that new code changes do not adversely affect existing functionalities.
- Participate in test planning test case design and test case review activities.
- Experience using AI-assisted tools for test case generation API/UI automation support defect summarization regression analysis and test data preparation.
- Expert-level automation experience in:
- Selenium for UI validation
- Playwright for modern and responsive web interfaces.
- Karate Framework for REST and SOAP API validation testing (using tools such as Postman SoapUI or Rest Assured).
- Experience testing in Retail Point-of-Sale (POS) environments or similar retail systems.
- Git Jenkins CI/CD pipelines and integration with test management tools (e.g. QMetry JIRA Zephyr).
- BDD/TDD data-driven testing and mocking service layers.
- Coding/scripting skills in Java JavaScript or Python.
- Professional Experience with Go Programming
