Job Description:
About the Role:
The QA Technician isdirectly responsiblefor ensuring compliance with all local state and federal food safety policies quality assurance practices and rabbinical supervision standards for the Ogden bakery.You will add value by doing the following including but not limited to:
Develop andmaintainQuality Assurance and Sanitation programs to minimize risk from regulatory agencies
Establish and manage raw material inspection procedures and analyze specifications to ensure consistent unadulterated products
Implement and oversee kosher certification systems to ensure ingredient compliance with rabbinical requirements
Establish operating and capital budgets for sanitation and quality functions
Develop andmaintainHACCP and SPC systems including targeted quality check ranges
Review quality reports address hold/scrap issues and ensure allergen cleanups and labeling accuracy
Coordinate audits conduct facility walkthroughs and address food safety and quality issues with production teams
Ensure compliance with food safety food quality and food defense standards; perform other duties as assigned
ImportantDetails:
- This is a full-time permanent role onD shift which operates froma rotating schedule Wednesday through Saturday 5pm - 5am.
- Pay starting at $27.97/Hr.
About You:
Youllfit right in if you have:
BS in Food Science or related field
8 years experience infoodindustry
Knowledge of Microsoft applications (word excel and power point)
Good verbal and written communication skills
