Job Summary
- Communicate with operators as to quality requirements.
- Assist operators on changeovers start-ups quality confirmations.
- Support production by being a QA presence at production lines.
- Interact with operators and helpers to ensure standard work is done consistently.
- Provide support for lab operations.
- Select and test products at various production stages.
- Perform destructive and non-destructive testing.
- Collaborate with management and engineering on standards.
- Follow safety and procedural guidelines strictly.
- Record and evaluate test data noting deviations.
- Input data into analysis systems.
- Support Tier One Problem Solving utilizing QC Tools (i.e. fishbone 5 Why etc.).
- Serve as a quality contact for operators and helpers.
- Conduct and document production audits.
- Maintain a quality presence in production areas.
- Perform other reasonable tasks as assigned.
- Support daily Tier 1 meetings to department as needed.
- Works closely with Quality and Engineering departments to resolve quality issues processing issues or organizing experimental trials.
- Assists with COPQ tasking and training.
- Support Training of new hires on critical to Quality in-process checks Quality related procedures and gaging.
- Support all Internal and External ISO Audits
- Support Audit and monitor calibration system.
