PW Maintenance Worker, Lead Wastewater

• Default schedule will be the following: Mondays-Thursdays (4/10) every Friday off (6:00 am - 4:30 pm)

• Coordinate daily operations and scheduling for sewer stormwater and related field crews ensuring efficient maintenance inspections equipment utilization resource allocation and operational continuity.
• Manage maintenance priorities and infrastructure reliability by overseeing preventive maintenance repairs regulatory compliance environmental protection and backlog reduction across wastewater and stormwater systems.
• Support emergency response and field operations by coordinating responses to sewer backups spills drainage issues infrastructure failures and other operational emergencies.
• Train mentor and develop staff through technical instruction coaching cross-training onboarding and reinforcement of operational safety and performance standards.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and workplace safety by promoting adherence to Washington State DOE King County Industrial Waste CMOM and City standards while enforcing safe work practices PPE use and permit requirements.
