Position Specific Description

This position sits within the Power Generation Division which is responsible for all of NextEra Energys non-nuclear generation operations exceeding 40000 megawatts (MW) of installed capacity. This position will be based out of Green River Solar in the Irvington Ky area. The intended employee will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of solar PV collection assemblies battery energy storage AC/DC inverters on multiple solar power plants to achieve safe efficient and environmentally sound plant operations.

In this role an employee will maintain all tools shops vehicles and all work locations in a safe and efficient condition provide inspections of watch electrical mechanical and electronic trouble shooting for a solar arrays and inverters.

Inspection is performed daily for fluid system breaches mechanical component breakage or misalignment and electrical component failures preventing inverters from producing grid power.

A candidate would be responsible for supporting teammates in nearby states in the region and maintaining reliability operations and maintenance for sites assigned area
