Purchasing Planner

• 3 month contingent with potential for full time.

In this role youll support the Purchasing Team by coordinating the subcontractor allocation process and helping shape short to mediumterm procurement decisions. Youll play a key part in RFQ and tendering activities maintain accurate pricing and procurement data and ensure materials and services are planned effectively against program demand. Working closely with internal stakeholders youll help drive consistency value for money and adherence to Babcocks procurement processes across all programs.

Youre someone who thrives in a structured fastpaced environment and enjoys working collaboratively with multiple teams. You bring strong organisational skills attention to detail and confidence in managing data RFQs and supplier interactions. Youre proactive comfortable engaging with stakeholders and committed to continuous improvement. Most importantly you take pride in supporting safe efficient and valuedriven procurement outcomes.

To be successful you will bring:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong computer skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team to achieve desired results
• Excellent attention to detail;
• Intermediate or advanced Microsoft Excel and a desire to enhance skills on the job;
• Intermediate IFS or another ERP system;
• Minimum of 2 years experience in Purchasing Contract or Project Administration roles;
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
