Job Summary
Purchasing (Maintenance Department)
Location: Houston TX 77041 Pay: $21$24/hr;Schedule: MF 8 AM5 PM
Position Summary
Support maintenance purchasing by communicating with vendors researching parts and suppliers negotiating costeffective options placing and expediting purchase orders maintaining inventory and maintenance records and assisting with facility repair and custodial supply needs.
Key Duties
- Purchase parts/materials and services per policy
- Research suppliers and negotiate pricing
- Maintain inventory and stock records
- Enter work orders in COGZ
- Assist with facility repairs
- Manage custodial closets and cleaning crew supply needs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5 years purchasing experience preferred
- Tooling/manufacturing knowledge; mechanical aptitude preferred
- Strong organization and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Proficient computer skills

- Office/Warehouse
- Jeans or pants; steeltoe boots when needed
