Emplify Health is seeking a Purchasing Assistant to join our Pharmacy team!

In this role youll support the procurement and inventory management of pharmaceutical products medications and pharmacy-related supplies that are essential to patient care. You will be responsible for processing and tracking orders maintaining accurate inventory records updating internal systems and supporting pharmacy purchasing and operational activities. Your work will directly contribute to ensuring timely access to medications and supplies for patients and care teams.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently has exceptional attention to detail and values being part of a collaborative service-focused healthcare team.


Whats Available:

  • Full-time 80 hours biweekly (1.0 FTE)

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm. Ability to work on-call every third week.

  • Location: La Crosse WI Main Campus

  • Starting pay of $21.63/hour and up based on experience

What Youll Need:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required

  • Experience: Two years or more of experience in pharmacy purchasing inventory management supply chain healthcare operations or a related business field preferred

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with a high degree of accuracy

  • Strong organizational communication and customer service skills

  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate inventory and purchasing records

  • Independent and self-motivated with the ability to effectively manage workload with minimal supervision

  • Ability to remain calm professional and solution-focused in a fast-paced healthcare environment

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel Outlook and Word

  • Epic experience preferred particularly within pharmacy medication inventory or supply chain workflows

  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical ordering processes medication inventory controls and working with vendors is a plus
