WHAT YOUR DAY IS LIKE

As a Purchasing Agent - Materials Buyer you immerse yourself in sourcing and procurement starting each day by assessing inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstock. You reach out to potential suppliers skillfully negotiating contracts and pricing that align with company policies. Creating purchase orders becomes second nature as you diligently follow up to ensure timely deliveries. Collaboration is key as you work closely with internal teams to understand their purchasing needs while analyzing costs to identify savings. Maintaining a robust vendor database you foster strong relationships that ensure quality and reliability in materials. Each day presents new challenges from addressing delivery issues to ensuring compliance in documentation solidifying your role as a crucial player in NCTs success.

WHATS NEEDED FROM A PURCHASING AGENT - MATERIALS BUYER

Were looking for someone who can work from 8 AM to 4 PM Monday through Friday while meeting the following qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalency
• 2 years in a procurement or buying role with Telecom experience being a plus
• Proficiency in database order processing and MS 365 software
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

We also need someone with the following qualities and traits:

• Highly organized with exceptional time management skills
• Strong negotiation attention to detail and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Team player with a proactive attitude
