Location: Minneapolis MN

Pay: $25.75 per hour paid weekly!

Shifts: 6:00 AM 2:30 PM Monday-Friday

Employment Type: Full time Trial to Hire

About this Opportunity:
The Punch Press Setup/Operator organizes and sets up progressive dies in appropriate presses including all accessories fixtures lubrication cushions etc. and produces a sample part in a time efficient manner.

What Youll Be Doing:

• Actively promotes and maintains a safe work environment.

• Sets up equipment.

• Performs safety checks as needed.

• Produces parts as assigned by supervisor or lead person and according to the needed sequence.

• Ensures the quality of parts produced is equal to sample part.

• Records all necessary job information including start and stop time # parts produced status of job etc

• Ensures initial and periodic safety checks are completed.

• Conducts required periodic part inspections and takes actions as necessary.

• Complies with all Company policies.

• Notifies supervisor (or lead person) immediately of problems concerns or questions you may have.

• Keeps work area clean and free of hazards.

• Follows special job instructions as communicated by supervisor or lead person or as on the job card.

What makes you a great fit:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Strong press operator experience is required set-up experience is preferred.

• Proficient blueprint reading skills

• Basic shop math skills

• High mechanical aptitude

• Ability to read speak and understand enough English for interpreting job cards and prints

• Safety and quality minded
