As a Punch Press Setup/Operatoryoullbe part of our teamlocatedin Montpelier IN.Youllget to:

• Operate punch press

• Reads measuring equipment:micrometerscalipersand such

• Performs adjustment and replacement tomaintaina quality product

• Complete alldieset ups in press.

• Load steel;moves scrap and finished parts from machinery

• Operates PIV to deliver tubs and raw material to machinery

• Utilize cranesto move steel throughout department

• Operates die cart to load/unload and transport dies

• Maintain housekeeping standards

• Ability to work overtime as needed

• Any other duties as assigned by supervisor

Who you Are

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

• General mechanical knowledge and ability.

• Drive andoperateforklift.

• Operate overhead cranes.

• Read and understand blueprints.

• Basic mathematical understanding and ability (add subtract divide units of measurement).

• Commonsenseunderstanding to carry out work instructions.

• Good communicationskills verbal and written.

• Able to write simplesentenceto provide information.

• Basic computer knowledge and ability to find information and enter data.

• Analytical skillsnecessaryto evaluate and solve die and press problems to run quality parts.

• Walkingstandingand moving for8 hourshift.

• Bendingreachingand climbing occasionally.

• Use of eyes for visual inspection of parts.

• Ability to walk stand bend pushpulland reach.

• Ability to lift and/or carry 5-25 pounds regularly and occasionally 25-65 pounds withassistance.
