Punch List Technician / Handyman

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Punch List Technician / Handyman to complete repairs maintenance finishing work and final project details across residential remodeling projects.

This position is ideal for someone with broad hands-on construction experience who can work independently solve problems and complete a variety of tasks with care and attention to detail.

The Punch List Technician / Handyman will address open items correct deficiencies perform repairs and help ensure completed work meets BRYJOs quality standards and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Perform jobsite preparation cleaning and light demolition
Complete punch list items repairs adjustments and finishing work
Perform basic plumbing minor HVAC-related work and basic electrical repairs
Install or repair fixtures and appliances
Clean repair and maintain gutters
Apply caulking sealants and weatherproofing materials
Complete minor concrete and masonry repairs
Perform routine maintenance and inspections
Assemble and install shelving cabinets and storage solutions
Complete rough and finish carpentry
Repair drywall and perform patching sanding spackling and painting
Install surface protection
Repair or replace flooring and tile
Perform pressure washing and exterior maintenance
Assist with roofing windows doors kitchens and bathrooms
Identify damaged or incomplete work and recommend solutions
Maintain clean organized and safe work areas
Use tools ladders and construction equipment safely
Communicate progress delays material needs and project concerns
Complete work according to schedules and quality standards
Perform other residential repair and punch list duties as required

Qualifications

Construction industry experience is required
Experience as a maintenance technician carpenter punch list technician remodeling technician or handyman is preferred
Working knowledge of residential trades including carpentry demolition drywall painting basic electrical basic plumbing flooring tile roofing windows doors and kitchen and bathroom remodeling
Ability to troubleshoot problems and complete repairs with limited supervision
Ability to use hand tools power tools ladders and construction equipment safely
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Proven ability to meet timelines and follow through
Dependable organized and able to manage multiple tasks
Professional when working in occupied homes and communicating with clients
Ability to work collaboratively with project managers carpenters subcontractors and other team members
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
Ability to perform physical construction work including lifting climbing bending kneeling and working indoors and outdoors

Salary and Benefits

$22 to $25 per hour based on experience and qualifications
