The role focuses on pulmonary function testing (PFT) and supporting outpatient pulmonary care including diagnostic testing patient education and selected clinical support activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform pulmonary function testing including spirometry lung volumes and diffusion studies
• Conduct ambulatory/exertional testing when indicated
• Ensure accurate patient preparation coaching and test quality
• Provide inhaler education and technique training
• Support outpatient pulmonary sick visits for acute respiratory concerns
• Assist with biologic therapy workflows including prior authorizations
• Maintain equipment quality control and lab standards
• Document results and clinical findings in the electronic medical record
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure coordinated care
