What You Will Do
- Load and unload innersprings into the baling machine with a team partner
- Verify product identification to ensure the correct innersprings are packaged
- Operate the baler by inserting compression rods and initiating the baling process
- Secure compressed bales using metal banding and pneumatic banding tools
- Move finished bales to staging areas using hand carts
- Work closely with VRC Operators Ladder Makers and fellow team members to maintain production flow
- Safely operate machinery tools and equipment while following all safety procedures
- Maintain a clean organized work area and wear required PPE
- Assist with other production duties as needed
What You Bring
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Ability to work safely in a team-oriented environment
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Ability to frequently lift up to 80 lbs. independently and 200 lbs. with a partner
- Comfortable standing bending reaching twisting and performing physical work throughout the shift
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
