ThePublic Safety Officer (Security Officer)is responsible for patrolling JHMI campus via foot mobile unit or bicycle to protect against illegal activities theft fire vandalism hazardous conditions

infringements etc.

Hours:

Part-Time (30 hours)

Rotating Shift

Location:

Columbia MD

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or coursework in security law enforcement or
  healthcare-related fields preferred.

Requirements:

• Requires current certification in use of Corporate Security Services self defense equipment.

Work Experience:

• The candidate must have one (1) year of security experience in the Public Safety Officer
• Must be at least 21 years ofage.

  Salary Range: Minimum 17.37/hour - Maximum 28.68/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
