Seeking a Public Health Program Director 1 to serve as a Parents as Teachers (PAT) Evidence-Based Home Visiting (EBHV) Model Consultant. This position supports the quality implementation and continuous improvement of TDH-funded Parents as Teachers programs across Tennessee.

Seeking a Public Health Program Director 1 to serve as a Parents as Teachers (PAT) Evidence-Based Home Visiting (EBHV) Model Consultant. This position supports the quality implementation and continuous improvement of TDH-funded Parents as Teachers programs across Tennessee.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and ongoing operation of Tennessees Parents as Teachers state office designation including affiliate support training technical assistance model replication and quality improvement.
- Provide consultation guidance and technical assistance to local PAT grantees.
- Conduct quality assurance and technical assistance visits to assess program implementation identify challenges and support improvement.
- Facilitate model-specific meetings Communities of Practice and professional development activities.
- Collaborate with TDH staff to align PAT policies procedures referral processes and services with Tennessees broader Early Childhood and EBHV systems.
- Partner with epidemiology and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) staff to evaluate program measures assess interventions and support data-driven improvement.
- Serve as the primary liaison with the Parents as Teachers National Center.
- Assist with grant development grant writing conference planning and other program activities.
- Participate in state and national advisory groups committees and workgroups.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with state and local partners.
- Promote health equity reduce health disparities and support the meaningful inclusion of parent and family voices in program activities.
- Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Home Visiting Family Support or a related field.
- Masters degree preferred.
- Professional experience in maternal and/or child health.
- At least two years of prevention-focused home visiting experience preferred.
- Experience providing leadership through consultation training supervision or program administration preferred.
- Program monitoring consultation planning development implementation and evaluation.
- Knowledge of prevention-focused home visiting programs serving pregnant women and families with young children.
- Strong collaboration communication and stakeholder relationship-building skills.
- Ability to provide leadership and guidance to home visiting professionals.
- Experience gathering stakeholder feedback and identifying training needs.
- Ability to coordinate training opportunities and facilitate meetings or Communities of Practice.
- Understanding of quality assurance contract compliance and continuous quality improvement.
