Porter roles at Stop and Shop involve maintaining store cleanliness assisting with customer service and supporting daily operations in a variety of departments.

Porters are responsible for keeping the store environment clean organized and customer-friendly. They may be assigned to front-end or back-end duties depending on store needs

• Cleaning & Maintenance:Sweep mop wax floors and clean restrooms break rooms and workstationsTrash & Waste Management: Dispose of trash and recyclables in accordance with store protocols

• Customer Service: Greet customers in a friendly professional manner; address inquiries and concerns when appropriate

• Store Organization: Maintain cleanliness and order in assigned areas including aisles and storage spaces

• Team Support: Follow safety guidelines communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers and assist in other duties as needed

• Flexibility:May be required to move between departments or assist in different areas
