PT Nurse, The Institute for Cognitive and Brain Health

About the Opportunity

The Institute for Cognitive and Brain Health is looking to hire a part-time licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with cardiology training and phlebotomy to assist with multiple funded studies across the Institute. Some of the studies that require an RN include the effects of lifestyle choices and health behaviors (e.g. physical activity diet) and their physiological sequelae (e.g. fitness adiposity) on brain and cognition; the relation between fitness level and speech and hearing across populations; and the interaction between stress and nutrition in pregnancy and infancy.

This individual should be licensed in the state of Massachusetts as an RN have experience with electrocardiograms (EKGs) and be comfortable working with individuals across the lifespan ranging from infants to older adults. Responsibilities include monitoring maximal exercise testing and conducting fasting blood draws on a variety of populations. Mornings are preferred; however the individual should have some flexibility as needed for studies as participants are recruited. Additional hours may become available as studies launch within the Institute.

• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Massachusetts.
