A janitor isresponsible for maintaining the cleanliness safety and operational condition of a building. Their core duties include sweeping and mopping floors cleaning and stocking restrooms emptying trash and performing light building maintenance. They ensure a hygienic environment for occupants and visitors.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Sanitation:Cleaning disinfecting and restocking restrooms. Safely handling and applying cleaning chemicals.
• Waste Management:Collecting separating (recycling) and disposing of trash and hazardous waste.
  
  Inventory Control:Monitoring and tracking cleaning supply inventory placing orders when necessary.
  
  
  
  Skills & Qualifications
  • Physical Stamina:Ability to stand for long periods bend kneel and lift heavy objects or equipment.
  • Chemical Safety:Keen understanding of handling cleaning solutions EPA-registered disinfectants and biohazards.
  • Time Management:Capable of working autonomously while following strict cleaning schedules and checklists
