Part-Time Grounds Helper

J.H. Fletcher & Co. a worldwide leader in the manufacture of heavy mobile machinery is seeking a temporaryPart-Time Grounds Helper to join our Huntington WV facility. This temporary position is ideal for students or individuals looking for summer employment while gaining hands-on experience in an industrial manufacturing environment. The Part-Time Grounds Helper will assist with general plant upkeep painting and other related tasks to help maintain a safe clean and organized workplace.

Required:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to safely perform physical labor in an industrial environment
• Dependable with a strong work ethic
• Ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Preferred:

• Previous experience with painting or general maintenance
• Experience using basic hand tools
• Knowledge of safe work practices

• Clean and maintain the interior and exterior of company buildings and grounds
• Paint walls railings and other designated areas
• Pick up trash and debris throughout the facility and surrounding property
• Assist with basic general labor tasks
• Help organize work areas storage locations and supplies
• Operate basic hand tools and equipment safely
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Risk Manager

• Position: Temporary Part-Time Summer Employment
• Schedule: Flexible daytime hours (up to 29 hours per week)
• Non-Exempt Position
