Typical Work Environment:Fast-paced retail setting hot and cold environments customer-facing duties.
The Service Deli Clerk prepares and serves a variety of deli products including sliced meats cheeses and prepared foods while providing attentive customer service. The role involves maintaining product displays ensuring freshness and food safety and keeping the deli area clean and inviting. The PT Deli Associate assists customers prepares/serve foods and maintains cleanliness in the store.
Customer Service: Interact with customers answer questions and provide product knowledge to drive sales
Food Preparation & Service: Cut slice portion weigh and label meats cheeses and prepared foods; make sandwiches subs and wraps
Product Display & Freshness: Maintain attractive organized displays; ensure all products are fresh and meet food safety standards
Cleanliness & Safety:Keep the deli area clean and hygienic; follow all food handling and safety protocols.
Sales Support: Offer product recommendations and upsell opportunities to increase revenue
Team Collaboration: Work with other deli and bakery team members; follow supervisor instructions and company standards
Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.
Ability to work in hot and cold environments.
Basic food handling and safety knowledge.
Attention to detail and ability to maintain product quality.
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends if required
