A front end position at Stop & Shop involves assisting customers at checkout providing customer service and maintaining a clean and organized front-of-store area.

Job Responsibilities

Front end associates often calledcashiers or clerks handle tasks such as:

• Scanning and bagging groceries for customers and processing payments efficiently.
• Greeting and assisting customers answering questions and providing a positive shopping experience
• Maintaining cleanliness in the front-end area including sweeping mopping collecting carts and keeping workstations and restrooms tidy
• Occasionally assisting with other store needs depending on staffing requirements
