ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Greet customers when they approach the concession stand
• Answer questions regarding products and pricing in a friendly manner
• Accurately record customers orders in thePOSsystem and collect cash and/or credit card payments
• Prep and serve food and drinks while wearing proper food prep gloves and changing gloves to avoid cross-contamination
• Maintain clean work environment while working the concession stand
• Sweep/mop take out trash and practice good hand washing
• Monitor inventory keeping the concession stand well-stocked
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Experience in Customer Service
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to obtain a Food Handlers License
• Experience working with a Point-of-Sale (POS) system
• 2 years experience in Customer Service
• Cash handling experience

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Typical office
• Business Hours
• M-Th 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. F 8:00 a.m. 12:00 p.m.
  • summer M-Th 7:30 a.m. 5:30 pm
• Periodic evening and weekend hours during peak periods (e.g. open enrollment payroll)
• Occasional travel (less than 10%)

Physical Demands

• Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to bend reach overhead and lift/move up to 25 pounds
• The person in this position frequently communicates with others verbally and electronically; must be able to exchange accurate information
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision color vision and the ability to adjust focus
• Noisy environment
• Ability to work flexible hours nights weekends and holidays as needed

Salary Range: $11.50 per hour
