Part-time Assistant Varsity Swim Coach

Berkeley Preparatory Schools Athletic Department is seeking an Assistant Coach for our Varsity swim team. The ideal candidate will have swim coaching experience and a strong knowledge of the sport.

Position Responsibilities:

Provide constructive feedback to athletes
Instruct swimmers at all levels from beginner to advanced
Maintain consistent attentive supervision of student-athletes
Stay current on sport rules and guidelines
Complete all required courses and certifications
Model excellent sportsmanship
Communicate and collaborate closely with the swim and dive coaching staff
Help foster a positive team culture for all student-athletes

Commitment:

Coaches must attend practices and athletic contest for the duration of the season.

Practices: MondayFriday approximately 3:306:00 PM
Meets: Days and times vary and may include Saturdays
Season: Early August through mid-November or the completion of post-season competition

Compensation:

A stipend is offered for this part-time seasonal position.
