Job Summary:
The AssistantFootballCoach serves as a key member of thefootballprogram andassiststhe Head Coach in all aspects ofoperatinga successful NCAA Division II program. Responsibilities include recruiting player development academic monitoring game preparation practice planning scouting compliance and administrative duties while supporting the mission and values of the institution and the athletic department.
Essential Job Functions:
- Assist the Head Coach with daily operations of thefootballprogram.
- Conduct individual and group skill development workouts.
- Assistwith practice planning scouting reports film breakdown and game preparation.
- Support recruiting effortsin accordance withNCAA Division II rules and regulations.
- Monitor and encourage academic success personal growth and student-athlete accountability.
- Assistwith team travel coordination equipment management and operational needs.
- Drive university-issued vehicles for team travel recruiting activities camps and other program-related responsibilities while adhering to all university transportation policies.
- Assistwith organizing camps clinics community outreach events and fundraising initiatives.
- Maintain knowledge of andcomply withNCAA conference and institutional policies and procedures.
- Serve as a positive representative of the university and department.

Minimum Job Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degreefrom an accredited college or university.
- Previouscoaching playing orfootballoperations experience at the collegiate high school or competitive level.
- Valid drivers license with the ability to be approved tooperateuniversity-issued vehicles.
- Strong communication leadership and organizational skills.
- Ability to work evenings weekends holidays and travel asrequired.
- Commitment to student-athlete development academic achievement and program culture.
Preferred Qualifications
- Collegiate coaching or playing experience.
- Experience with player development and skill instruction.
- Recruiting experience and knowledge of NCAA Division II regulations.
- Strength and conditioning experience or background in athletic performance training.
Certification Requirements
- CPR First Aid and AED certification preferred orrequiredupon hire.

Physical Demands
Ability to sit or stand for up to 8 hours/ (up to25pounds occasionally) bending and carrying. Ability to lift move and todemonstratefootballdrills and participate in on-fieldinstruction. Ability to travelfrequentlyand work flexible hours including nights and weekends.
