Job Summary

Accountabilities

• Provide individual couples family and group psychotherapy. Utilize independent decision-making in plan of care for therapy services provided.
• Conduct psychological testing and assessment for designated psychiatric patients.
• Provide timely professional documentation of psychological testing reports treatment plans and progress notes.
• Participate in the training/teaching of students and residents.
• Works in conjunction with treating psychiatrist and makes appropriate referrals to other professionals or community services as needed.
• Actively participate in development of psychological services for the Department of Psychiatry to include community outreach and education

Supervisory/Management Responsibility

This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor manager director or executive.

Minimum Requirements

• Doctorate in Clinical psychology PhD or PsyD
• 1 year of Post-doctoral experience in medical setting

Required Certifications/Registrations/Licenses

South Carolina License to Practice Clinical Psychology

In Lieu Of The Above Minimum Requirements

PsyD is the equivalent to PhD.

Team members employed in this job prior to July 1 2020 are grandfathered under prior educational and experience addition team members must be certification eligible and will have one year to obtain required certification.
