Job Summary
Psychiatrist VA Medical Center
Board Certified / Board Eligible Psychiatrist for an on-site VA opportunity in Memphis TN at the Lt. Col. Luke Weathers Jr. VA Medical Center.
Compensation:$190.00/ HR
Requirements:
Active unrestricted U.S. medical license
Board Certified / Board Eligible in Psychiatry
Current BLS and ACLS
On-site availability during clinic hours plus call coverage
Duties include:
Inpatient and outpatient psychiatry
Evaluations diagnosis treatment planning and follow-up
Residential and specialty clinic coverage
Collaboration with VA mental health staff
Peer reviews and required documentation
Qualifications:
Current full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. State Territory Commonwealth or the District of Columbia
Board Certified / Board Eligible by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
Current BLS and ACLS or equivalent
Schedule: MondayFriday with weekday and weekend on-call responsibilities.
On-call response: within 15 minutes by phone and on-site within 60 minutes.
