Psychiatrist Full-time Inpatient

Korzen Health is seeking a dedicated Inpatient Psychiatrist to join our team in Birmingham AL focusing on delivering high-quality evidence-based care in an inpatient setting while managing acute psychiatric conditions and ensuring patient stabilization and safety.

With a manageable call schedule (one weekend per month) and a competitive salary this role provides a balance of professional challenge and personal lifestyle in the beautiful Birmingham AL.

Position Details:

• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Call Schedule: One weekend per month
• Salary Range: $325000 - $375000 annually
• Facility: 22-bed adult-only facility (No pediatric patients)

Responsibilities:

• Provide care in inpatient settings.
• Perform consults and supervise mid-level providers
• Daily rounding comprehensive psychiatric evaluations medication management and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements:

• Board-certified/board-eligible in Psychiatry
• Active or eligible for a Alabama medical license
• Strong interpersonal and clinical skills
• Interest or experience in teaching and mentoring medical trainees
