In this role you will provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations diagnosis and medication management for adults children and adolescents. Youll collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams guide treatment planning and support patients in achieving improved mental health and overall wellness through evidence-based practices.

Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive psychiatric evaluations diagnosis and medication management for diverse patient populations
Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to develop and implement effective individualized treatment plans
Provide clinical leadership and consultation supporting team members in diagnosis case formulation and treatment strategies
Supervise and maintain collaborative practice agreements with nurse practitioners and physician assistants
Educate patients and families on diagnoses treatment options and ongoing care to promote active participation in recovery
Monitor patient progress adjust treatment plans and ensure continuity of care using evidence-based practices
Participate in treatment team meetings clinical supervision and quality improvement initiatives
Respond to on-call responsibilities for emergency psychiatric care (with additional compensation)
Maintain timely accurate clinical documentation within the electronic medical record system
Support efficient practice operations including productivity goals billing accuracy and compliance with policies and procedures

Education Experience and/or Credential Qualifications:
Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) from an accredited medical school required
Completion of a Psychiatry residency program required
03 years of psychiatric clinical experience preferred
Board eligible in Psychiatry required; Board certification in a psychiatric specialty preferred
Unlimited license to practice medicine in the state of Tennessee required

Additional Qualifications:
Ability to effectively communicate with patients families and interdisciplinary teams across verbal written and virtual formats
Demonstrated leadership skills and experience working in collaborative healthcare environments
Strong knowledge of psychopathology psychopharmacology and evidence-based psychiatric treatment
Ability to complete clinical documentation in accordance with organizational standards
Commitment to maintaining licensure and continuing medical education requirements
Ability to respond effectively to emergent situations and manage patient care independently and collaboratively

Physical Requirements
Sit for extended periods (approximately 80% of the time)
Stand periodically throughout the workday (approximately 20% of the time)
Perform occasional bending kneeling and squatting
Drive occasionally for professional responsibilities
Lift and carry items occasionally as needed
