We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Technician to join the team at Davis Grant Medical Center (60th MDG) DHN Central at Travis AFB California. The Psychiatric Technician will provide direct support to patients receiving behavioral health and psychiatric services while working closely with nurses providers social workers and other members of the healthcare team.

• Provide direct support and assistance to patients receiving behavioral health and psychiatric care.

• Monitor patients and observe changes in behavior mood and overall condition.

• Assist clinical staff with patient care and daily treatment activities.

• Maintain a safe supportive and therapeutic environment for patients.

• Assist with patient admission discharge and transfer procedures as directed

• Psychiatric Technician Certification required.

• Previous experience in psychiatric behavioral health healthcare or patient-care settings preferred.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
