Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

There is currently an urgent need for a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with experience in a Psychiatric setting to join a stable organization on a full-time basis. This is a terrific opportunity offering a terrific benefits package and competitive pay in the Latham OR area.

Job Description

• Performing 10-11 outpatient consultations per day

• Working closely with Doctor at hospital or at clinic

• Handling consults and establishing relationships with patients
• Assesses patient health by interviewing patients; performing physical examinations; prescribing medication obtaining updating and studying medical histories

All candidates MUST have the following experiences to qualify for consideration

• Please DO NOT APPLY unless you have a current NP license and DEA in the state of OR.
• Minimum of 1 year in psychiatric setting is Preferred but new grads welcome
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Experience with patients of all ages primarily adults.
