Position Summary
We are seeking an PSDS Harness Coordination & Issue Management Engineer to support day-to-day coordination issue tracking and execution across PSDS harness-related work. This role will focus on helping drive action closure maintain alignment across teams and ensure progress on wiring harness and electrical distribution activities.
This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career to build technical depth in wire harness and vehicle electrical systems while gaining exposure to cross-functional engineering collaboration. You will work closely with experienced engineers and leaders supporting execution and helping keep projects on track.
Primary Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day coordination across PSDS and wire harness activities
- Track open issues follow up on action items and help drive closure
- Work with cross-functional teams to resolve blockers and maintain timelines
- Assist in preparing updates for engineering reviews (status risks open issues)
- Partner with design integration validation and supplier teams to stay aligned
- Identify risks or delays and escalate with support from senior team members
- Help improve team organization follow-up and execution discipline
- Support standard work issue tracking processes and team operating rhythms
- Assist with prioritizing daily tasks and maintaining focus on key deliverables
- Provide coordination support to senior engineers and technical leads
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- 03 years of experience in engineering automotive or related technical field (internships/co-ops included)
- Basic understanding or interest in wire harness PSDS or vehicle electrical systems
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow through on commitments
- Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced engineering environment
- Proactive mindset with strong attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Internship co-op or project experience related to electrical systems or automotive engineering
- Exposure to wiring harness design electrical architecture or similar topics
- Familiarity with engineering processes such as testing validation or issue tracking
- Experience working on team-based projects
- Interest in automotive or vehicle systems development
