Job Description

What you will be doing:

Manage large affordable properties ideally 400 or more units.
Work with a large team of employees 10 or more.
Work independently and make sound judgments.
Organize and manage the team effectively.
Manage time efficiently and meet deadlines.
Communicate effectively with multiple agencies including the county of Henrico.
Manage HUD properties and ensure compliance with HUD inspections (MOR and NSPIRE).
Complete annual recertifications in a timely manner.
Handle budgeting including preparing budgets and adhering to them.
Collect rent timely and follow a collection policy.

Experience you will need:

Proven track record managing large affordable properties.
A minimum of 7 years of experience in affordable housing.
Experience working with a large team of employees.
Extensive background in managing HUD properties.
Experience in LIHTC (Tax Credit).
Ideally experience in Yardi or similar property management software.
Proven track record in budgeting and financial management.
