About the Role
Were looking for a Property Manager to oversee a Class A multifamily community with approximately 430 residential units in Mott Haven Bronx. This person will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the property ensuring the building is well maintained residents receive excellent service and maintenance projects are completed efficiently.
The Property Manager will work closely with the on-site Superintendent and Handyman while coordinating with outside vendors and contractors as needed.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of a 430-unit residential property.
- Manage and support the on-site Superintendent and Handyman.
- Coordinate vendors and contractors for maintenance repairs and building projects.
- Ensure maintenance requests are completed promptly and efficiently.
- Perform regular property inspections and address any issues.
- Respond to resident concerns and help ensure a high level of tenant satisfaction.
- Monitor vendor performance and maintenance schedules.
- Assist with maintenance budgets invoices and operating expenses.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable building and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Previous experience managing residential apartment buildings or multifamily properties.
- Experience supervising building staff and working with outside vendors.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Hands-on proactive and takes ownership of property operations.
