Project WaterWastewater Engineer

H2M architects engineers a multidiscipline architectural engineering and environmental consulting firm is expanding its Water and Wastewater Engineering team. We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer with strong technical backgrounds in water resources stormwater and wastewater systems. Ideal candidates will have expertise in biological nutrient removal technologies hydraulics sludge conditioning and disposal treatment storage and distribution projects and civil/site design. This position is seated in our Westchester NY ResponsibilitiesPerform engineering work in various engineering fields with an emphasis on water and wastewater treatment process through design to engineering evaluations execute design calculations and prepare reports plans and specifications with support of senior level engineering staffConduct construction administration and on-site resident support activities including construction phase management activities coordination of shop drawing reviews and RFI responses and lead the development of construction change detailed engineering calculations and administrative and project management related tasks for various engineering design projects including management of subconsultantsLead development of construction documents (plans and specifications).Manage project budgets and delivery with other engineering and architecture field investigations and performance or conformity with plans and specifications through field inspection and testingSupervise and mentor junior engineers and technical with clients and construction with business development proposal writing and & Qualifications5 years of professional work experience in the design and/or design services of water/wastewater Bachelors degree in Civil Environmental Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or related field of required PE highly desired. Strong verbal/written communication skills organizational skills and the ability to work well both independently and in team using Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Access Teams Outlook).Understanding of Autodesk Revit range for this role is $85000 - $120000 annually.
