At Swisslog were designing and delivering some of the worlds most advanced warehouse automation solutions. As a Project Scheduler youll play a critical role in transforming concepts into executable plans long before project execution begins. Working closely with teams across Solution Design Engineering Sales Project Management Procurement Installation and Commissioning youll develop and optimize project schedules that support customer proposals and delivery strategies for complex automation systems. Your expertise will help drive informed decision-making identify and mitigate project risks improve forecasting accuracy and contribute to successful project outcomes around the globe.
From robotic fulfillment centers to large-scale automated warehouses youll help bring innovative solutions to life by:
- Developing and maintaining project schedules from proposal through go-live ensuring plans are realistic aligned with project requirements and support successful execution.
- Creating and improving scheduling standards templates tools and methodologies that promote consistency and efficiency across projects and solution offerings.
- Analyzing project scope historical data resource requirements and key dependencies to build accurate schedules and forecasting models.
- Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to validate assumptions optimize execution strategies and identify schedule risks constraints and opportunities.
- Supporting proposal reviews customer presentations and business decision-making through schedule analysis scenario planning and project insights.
- Maintaining scheduling metrics planning assumptions and performance data to support continuous improvement and future project planning.
- Providing scheduling expertise to project teams including support for capacity planning resource forecasting lessons learned reviews and best practice development.
- Contributing to process improvement initiatives and other activities that enhance project planning delivery performance and customer success.
- 7 years of experience in project scheduling project controls project management or a related field.
- Experience creating and managing schedules for complex engineering software installation or automation projects.
- Strong knowledge of project scheduling critical path analysis forecasting and risk management.
- Proficiency with project scheduling and planning tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret project data and develop realistic plans.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in a collaborative environment.
- Excellent organization communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in warehouse automation intralogistics robotics or material handling.
- Experience supporting customer proposals bid management or solution development.
- Knowledge of advanced project controls resource planning and forecasting techniques.
- Familiarity with warehouse automation technologies including ASRS robotics controls and software systems.
- Experience supporting global projects or multi-region teams.
- Familiarity with business intelligence and data visualization tools.
