Project Quality Lead – CWI Inspector

Responsibilities

• Do visual and final weld inspections to the applicable ASME codes

• Lead project quality activities

• Review WPSs PQRs and welder qualification records for compliance
• Check fit-up dimensions and weld quality before and after welding
• Write review and maintain inspection reports NCRs and quality records
• Work with fabrication production and client representatives to resolve quality issues
• Support final documentation packages and turnover

Requirements

• Current AWS CWI certification (required)
• 10 years of welding inspection or quality experience
• Strong working knowledge of ASME codes and standards
• Experience with visual and final inspections in a fabrication or project setting
• Able to work 50-55 hours per week Monday-Friday for the full assignment
• Strong documentation and communication skills

Preferred

• Prior experience as a quality lead or supervisor
• NDE familiarity (UT RT MT PT) or ASNT Level II

• Experience with pressure vessels
