You will manage the planning and delivery of multiple built formminor projects and contracts from procurement to completion stagesensuring that they are delivered on time on budget and to thehighest quality in line with the City policies and frameworks andindustry best practice and codes. You will also be a part of adynamic team of professionals providing internal specialisedproject consultancy services for other City departments. You willbe called upon to review specialised consultant and architectspecifications drawings contract documentation and communicateamendments. The assessment of tender and quote submissions and therecommendation to award contracts is a vital part of your role. Youwill be required to create and update project management toolsregisters reports and other documentation as required by policiesprocedures and the Citys Project Management Framework.

Pivotal to the planning and delivery of projects you will havestrong written and interpersonal skills particularly verbalcommunication with the ability to build stakeholderrelationships. You will use your experience in managing andadministering construction projects and contracts whilst managingcost control and financial reporting. You will also possess theability to produce high quality project scopes specificationscontracts estimates and budgets. It is essential to havequalification in project management construction engineering ortrades field. Being able to use your previous experience in localgovernment along with understanding of appropriate legislation ishighly regarded.

To be considered for this role you must address thefollowing selection criteria as part of your onlineapplication:

1. Demonstrated experience in managing and administering construction projects and contracts
2. Diverse construction/trade experience and technical expertise
3. Experience with financial management of multi-disciplinary projects covering budgeting cost control and reporting requirements
4. Strong background in managing contractors and tradespersons
5. Ability to produce high quality project scopes specifications contracts estimates and budgets
6. Strong written and interpersonal skills particularly verbal communication
7. Degree diploma or trade qualification in project management construction engineering or trades field
8. Current C class drivers licence

We are offering a remuneration package from $102707 to$110461 per annum depending on skills and experienceand:

• 12% superannuation with the option to co-contribute up to a further 5%
