Job Summary

Washington Trust is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support our Project Management team located in Westerly RI. This position will be responsible for managing assigned technical projects within the organization in accordance with the Project Development Life Cycle (PDLC). Projects can include key strategic initiatives developing new program ideas as well handling BAU processes strategic process reengineering and establishment of control procedures. This highly visible position will assist and support the Director of the PMO in executing general PMO duties as well the development implementation and enculturation of the organizational Project Management framework strategy policies process and procedures. This role requires a unique blend of leadership technical project management and business analysis position is fully remote but requires the ability to work on-site in Westerly RI as required. Candidates must be located within RI CT or MA. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESSuccessfully manage multiple projects simultaneously through the full project lifecycle including scope schedule budget assumptions dependencies and change control management in support of the Banks strategic relationships with business lines to understand their functions needs and opportunities to capture and evaluate their business requirements for as the liaison between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders translating business needs into technical language and vice for ensuring all project deliverables are effectively attained (and applicable documentation developed).Update and follow policies user guidelines and best business lines with evaluation of vended software solutions and perform gap analyses as meeting leadership track issues perform risk assessments create and manage project with business lines to develop test plans and scripts coordinate test execution and document with Regulators and Internal Audit as neededAssess impacts to overall project deliverables to proactively identify what can take the project with business lines and employ problem solving skills to drive issue resolution. Analyze business processes and workflows to identify improvement opportunities drive operational efficiencies and support successful solution degreeMinimum of 5 years project management experience (leading projects) preferably in a banking -depth knowledge and proven application of Project Management methodologies and full project lifecycle including documentation standards risk issue assumption and dependency management and change control Management Professional (PMP) Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) Agile certification or equivalent certification with banking platform is a leading system in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools such as Smartsheet Jira Visio or similar interpersonal/communication skills (written/verbal) with the ability to communicate with all levels of the technical concepts into clear business analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex business processes identify root causes assess impacts and interpret : A goodfaith reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is $120000 to $145000 and the actual offer will depend on factors such as experience skills training certifications and education. This base salary reflects one component of our competitive compensation package. This position may be eligible for an annual bonus and includes a comprehensive benefits package.
