Job Summary

Department: IT Technology Services - PMO

Reports To: Director Project Management Office

FLSA Status: Exempt

Salary Range: $102000 $118000 annually

Job Purpose

The Project Manager performs administrative work involving considerable responsibility complexity and variety managing and coordinating activities of designated projects. This individual handles multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and supports administrative and coordination needs of the unit.

Supervisory Authority

Provides limited supervision for one or more functions within a department including planning assigning directing and coordinating work. May perform staff evaluations and provide input on performance and compensation.

Nature and Scope

Works with internal stakeholders including executives administrators faculty students and staff. Engages with external partners such as consultants and representatives from other institutions.

Principal Accountabilities
  • Plan develop administer and coordinate program goals and objectives
  • Implement approved policies and procedures
  • Conduct research analysis and program coordination activities
  • Monitor program performance and recommend improvements
  • Develop and manage project work plans and timelines
  • Coordinate activities through delegation to staff
  • Prepare funding proposals and supporting documentation
  • Generate reports on program status progress and financials
  • Provide guidance and problem-solving support to stakeholders
  • Evaluate program effectiveness and implement improvements
  • Develop and lead workshops meetings and conferences
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint Access)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build effective working relationships
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelors degree required
  • 57 years of relevant experience
  • 12 years of related experience may substitute for degree
