Duration: Long term

Location: Hybrid in New Brunswick NJ

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Scrum Master to facilitate Agile delivery across one or more cross-functional teams with experience in the Cybersecurity domain. The ideal candidate is a servant-leader who drives continuous improvement fosters collaboration and ensures delivery excellence through Agile best practices. Experience using Jira for Agile project management sprint planning and metrics tracking is required.

Key Responsibilities:

Agile Facilitation

• Lead one or more Agile teams in the effective adoption and implementation of Scrum or Kanban frameworks.
• Facilitate all Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups sprint planning backlog refinement sprint reviews and retrospectives.
• Coach team members and stakeholders on Agile principles values and practices to strengthen Agile maturity
• Facilitate continuous improvement and team autonomy

Project management

• Track Progress manage risks and ensure successful delivery of dashboards
• Develop and maintain project plans status reports and schedules.
• Work closely with Product Owners to ensure well-defined and prioritized backlogs aligned with business objectives.

Stakeholder Communication

• Serve as the primary liaison between Product owners development team and stakeholders
• Provide transparent communication on sprint progress risks and outcomes to stakeholders and leadership.
• Ensure alignment between technical execution and business objectives

Team Enablement

• Support team capacity planning and workload management
• Identify and remove impediments to team progress ensuring smooth sprint execution.

Metrics & Reporting

• Track key performance indicators
• Manage and track team performance using Jira including sprint burndown charts velocity tracking and reporting
• Support the use of Jira to create dashboards reports and metrics that promote visibility and accountability

Key Skills:

• 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master (or Agile Project Manager) leading Agile teams.
• Experience leading Cybersecurity projects
• Hands-on experience with Jira for sprint management reporting and Agile metrics tracking (mandatory).
• Experience with Microsoft office tools Confluence Jira Align or other Atlassian tools.
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum Kanban SAFe etc.) and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Excellent facilitation communication and conflict-resolution skills.
• Proven ability to coach teams and foster a collaborative self-organizing culture.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification (preferred).

Nice to have:

• Experience in data analytics metric reporting is a plus
• Experience leading Dashboard Visualization teams and familiarity with PBI Tableau
• Experience working in a scaled Agile environment (SAFe LeSS or similar).
• Background in software development QA or product management.
• Experience working with distributed or remote teams.
