Job Summary
We are searching for a Project Manager with a strong construction background to support our clients growing data-center and infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for a hands-on detail-driven professional with experience managing large-scale commercial industrial or mission-critical facilities from preconstruction through commissioning. The Project Manager will oversee planning construction and delivery of complex infrastructure projects ensuring they are completed safely on schedule within budget and to high quality standards.
The successful candidate will work closely with development engineering design procurement contractors utilities and leadership teams to keep projects moving efficiently and aligned with organizational goals. - Salary: $58-$65 per hour (DOE)
- Role Type : Contract to Hire.
- 100% onsite in Sacramento.
Responsibilities
- Lead all phases of data center construction projects from pre-construction through commissioning.
- Manage project budgets schedules execution plans and risk mitigation.
- Coordinate architects engineers contractors consultants and utility partners.
- Oversee contractor performance construction quality safety and schedule adherence.
- Review drawings specifications RFIs submittals and change orders.
- Provide regular project updates to leadership.
- Support permitting and coordination with municipalities and regulatory agencies.
- Partner with Procurement on long-lead equipment and materials.
- Ensure projects meet Infiniums safety quality and operational standards.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management Civil/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 7 years managing commercial industrial mission-critical or data center construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies scheduling budgeting and contract administration.
- Experience managing general contractors EPC firms and multidisciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with permitting utility coordination commissioning and startup.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project Primavera P6 Procore Bluebeam or similar platforms.
- Strong leadership communication negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Preferred: Experience with data centers mission-critical facilities and electrical/mechanical systems; PMP or Construction Management certifications are a plus.
