Job Summary
Were seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead the planning coordination and successful delivery of construction projects that support high-quality healthcare this role youll oversee projects from concept through completion working closely with hospital leaders architects contractors and regulatory partners to ensure facilities are delivered safely efficiently and to the highest standards.Patient Care: No
What Youll Do
- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans including scope schedules budgets and resource requirements.
- Create and oversee project budgets ensuring financial objectives are achieved.
- Lead the selection negotiation and management of contracts with architects construction firms consultants and subcontractors.
- Direct and coordinate construction activities to ensure work is completed according to approved plans specifications and quality standards.
- Develop and maintain project schedules identifying key milestones risks and potential bottlenecks.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable local state and federal regulations including healthcare construction requirements and safety standards.
- Serve as a key point of contact for project stakeholders facilitating communication among hospital leadership contractors consultants and regulatory agencies.
- Coordinate final inspections testing commissioning and project closeout activities to ensure a seamless transition to occupancy.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelors Degree in Construction Management Civil Engineering or a related field required.
Experience may not be substituted for the required degree.
Experience
- 23 years of experience managing construction projects within hospital or healthcare facility environments required.
Knowledge Skills & Abilities
- Proficiency with construction management software and project scheduling tools.
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulations building codes and construction safety standards.
- Excellent organizational planning and project leadership skills.
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities with diverse stakeholder groups.
- Effective problem-solving decision-making and risk-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining focus on quality budget and schedule objectives.
