Job Summary

Position Overview

Varmoda is seeking an experienced and results-driven Project Manager to lead and deliver medium to large-scale initiatives within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cross-functional teams stakeholders and vendors to drive successful project outcomes while supporting organizational goals and strategic initiatives.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership communication and project management skills with experience overseeing projects throughout the entire lifecycle from initiation and planning through execution monitoring and closure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead projects through the full project lifecycle from initiation to closure.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans schedules milestones and deliverables.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure alignment with objectives and business requirements.
  • Manage project scope timelines resources and budgets effectively.
  • Apply Agile Waterfall and Hybrid project management methodologies as appropriate.
  • Ensure successful project delivery while maintaining quality standards.
  • Adhere to established project management methodologies standards and governance frameworks.
  • Ensure project activities align with organizational goals and strategic priorities.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation status reports and executive dashboards.
  • Track and communicate key performance indicators and project metrics.
  • Monitor compliance with applicable regulations policies and standards.
  • Identify assess and mitigate project risks.
  • Manage issue tracking escalation and resolution activities.
  • Implement structured change management processes and controls.
  • Conduct root cause and gap analyses to support project success.
  • Recommend corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Forecast and coordinate project resource requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams subject matter experts and external partners.
  • Manage vendor relationships contracts and deliverables.
  • Address project roadblocks and escalate concerns when necessary.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders.
  • Build strong relationships across business and technical teams.
  • Develop executive presentations project communications and status updates.
  • Facilitate meetings workshops and stakeholder engagement sessions.
  • Drive collaboration and informed decision-making across project teams.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing medium to large-scale projects through the full project lifecycle.
  • Hands-on experience working with:
    • Agile Methodologies
    • Waterfall Methodologies
    • Hybrid Project Management Approaches
  • Strong understanding of PMI PMBOK principles and project management best practices.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project and project management tools.
  • Experience in:
    • Scope Management
    • Risk Management
    • Change Management
    • Budget Management
    • Stakeholder Management
    • Vendor Management
  • Strong analytical problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong facilitation presentation and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working within a Project Management Office (PMO).
  • Background supporting healthcare public sector or government organizations.
  • Experience with contract and procurement management.
  • Experience creating executive dashboards and performance reporting.
  • Knowledge of organizational change management methodologies.
  • Experience supporting enterprise transformation or modernization initiatives.
  • Proven ability to lead large stakeholder groups and cross-functional teams.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
  • Professional Scrum Master (PSM)
  • Prosci Change Management Certification
