Job Description
Job Title: Senior Project Manager (Network Facility Build-Out)
- 6-month contract with possible extension
- Local Richmond VA candidates preferred; qualified local RVA candidates considered first
- Hybrid role
- Both Web and In-Person interviews required
Key Requirements:
- Senior-level experience with network facility build-outs (required)
- Experience implementing network technology in new facility environments
- Strong project/program management experience managing multiple workstreams
- Experience with facility moves/relocations required
- Data Center migration experience is a plus
- Familiarity with Network Bill of Materials (BOM) development preferred
- Strong budget risk and stakeholder management skills required
- Proficiency with MS Project and MS Office tools
Responsibilities:
- Lead project planning execution risk schedule and stakeholder management
- Coordinate technical requirements gathering and approvals with IT/VITA teams
- Support network implementation and facility transition activities
- Manage project teams remove roadblocks and ensure timely delivery
- Oversee procurement resource allocation and operational transition planning
- Communicate project status risks and budget updates to leadership and stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with DBHDS and VITA project governance standards
