Job Summary

  • Lead capital projects from planning and design through installation startup and project closeout.
  • Deliver projects safely on time within budget and aligned with business objectives.
  • Partner with Operations and Maintenance teams to identify opportunities that improve reliability efficiency quality and profitability.
  • Manage contractors vendors and project stakeholders throughout execution.
  • Apply best practices in cost management engineering design utilities controls and safety.
  • Review equipment specifications proposals and contracts to ensure technical and commercial requirements are met.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental health safety and food safety regulations including FSMA requirements.
  • Serve as a trusted technical resource recommending practical and cost-effective solutions to operational challenges.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and evaluate opportunities that can evolve into future capital investments.

Projects Youll Work On
This role offers a diverse portfolio of engineering and operational improvement projects including:

  • Mechanical systems such as ammonia compressors boilers and facility infrastructure upgrades.
  • Processing improvements equipment replacements and automation enhancements.
  • Byproduct optimization initiatives that create additional value from existing production streams.
  • Product quality improvement projects that support faster time-to-market and operational efficiency.
  • Strategic investments that improve facility performance and long-term profitability.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical Electrical Chemical Civil Agricultural or related discipline) or equivalent experience.
  • 3 years of experience in project management engineering technical operations or capital projects within a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects from concept through completion.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently prioritize competing demands and drive results with minimal oversight.
  • Proven problem-solving skills with a consultative approach to improving operations and business outcomes.
  • Experience managing contractors vendors and cross-functional stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in food processing beverage manufacturing or consumer packaged goods environments.
  • Knowledge of FSMA HACCP or food safety regulations.
  • Lean Manufacturing certification.
  • PMP or other Project Management certification.
