Project Manager

Design Hire is seeking a Project Manager to oversee architectural metal construction projects from award through closeout. This role is ideal for someone with experience managing sheet metal roofing façade or architectural metal projects who can successfully coordinate budgets schedules subcontractors and customer communication while delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage architectural metal construction projects from project kickoff through final completion and customer handoff.
  
• Develop and maintain project schedules budgets cost forecasts and financial reporting to ensure projects remain on track.
  
• Coordinate with customers architects general contractors fabrication teams field personnel and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle.
  
• Review construction drawings specifications shop drawings RFIs submittals and change orders while ensuring accurate project execution.
  
• Monitor project progress resolve field issues support procurement activities and maintain clear communication with all project stakeholders.
  

Qualifications

• 5 years of project management experience supporting architectural metal sheet metal roofing façade building envelope or commercial construction projects.
  
• Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication architectural metals roofing systems or exterior building components.
  
• Experience managing project budgets scheduling forecasting change orders and contract documentation.
  
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and common construction project management software.
  
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings shop drawings specifications and construction documents.
  
• Experience coordinating fabrication field installation subcontractors and project closeout activities.
  
• Strong communication organization negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  
• Bachelors degree in Construction Management Engineering or a related field preferred.
